Golden Hurricane Defeats USF In Sound Conference Win

Helping solidify their place near the top of the American conference, the Golden Hurricane dealt a loss to a pesky USF team.

Tulsa defeated a USF team that, at least for the Golden Hurricane, never seemed to go away, 61-51. Tulsa, at one point, led by 14 points but USF never took a lead in this game, even though they came close.

The Golden Hurricane shot 42.9% from the field but had 14 turnovers in the game. Fortunately for Frank Haith’s team, USF had 15 turnovers.

Brandon Rachal led Tulsa in scoring with 15 points, six rebounds and three assists on the game. Off the bench, Darien Jackson put up 10 points and four rebounds for the Golden Hurricane Wednesday.
