The Tulsa Health Department said if you got your first COVID-19 vaccine shot at one of its clinics, you don’t need to schedule an appointment for a second dose.

The department said you should return for your second shot after 21 days if you got the Pfizer vaccine or 28 days if you received Moderna’s. THD said you need to go back to the same place and same time of day you got your first shot.

The department said those people don’t need to schedule their appointment through the portal and should bring their vaccine card to their second appointment.

The department said it added more than 2,700 new appointments to the portal Wednesday night.
