Tulsa Police Investigating Deadly Crash Near Downtown

Tulsa Police are investigating a deadly crash in downtown Tulsa which knocked power lines into the roadway.

Officers say they arrived at the intersection of 8th and Cincinnati just after 6 p.m. Friday night and found a driver trapped in an SUV. They say the driver ran a red light and struck an RV before crashing into an electric pole. TPD says Tulsa Fire crews were able to pull the man out of the car and transport him to a local hospital where he later died.

Police say no one in the RV was hurt and PSO was able to come to the scene and remove the downed lines from the roadway.
