1.PRESIDENTIAL TRANSITION: The big story – inauguration day. News On 6 coverage starts at 6 a.m. with live updates from our independent Washington Bureau reporter Alex Cameron. President-elect Joe Biden will arrive at the Capitol at 10 a.m. central time and the inauguration program starts at 10:15 a.m.
2.LOCAL REACTIONS: The Oklahoma Democratic Party is celebrating with a virtual new conference. The party’s leaders will share their thoughts on the ceremony and Biden’s speech at 2 p.m.
3.EASIER REAL ID: You can now use a new version of the Oklahoma Mobile ID app to quickly and easily pre-enroll for REAL ID. The governor announced the update can help people jumpstart the process from the comfort of their home and decrease time for their in-person visit by up to 40%.
4.FUNDRAISER HUNT: The Hunt for the Diamond Necklace goes live Wednesday at noon. It’s a fundraiser for Tulsa Pop kids. 200 hearts are available with gift cards for dinner, chocolate or a surprise from a local business. One heart contains a half-carrot diamond necklace. Hearts cost $25.
5.KIDS CRAFT TIME: If you’re looking for something to do with your kids Wednesday, there’s kids craft time at Tulsa Toy Depot. The free event is at 11 a.m. for all kids 18-months-old and up to explore their artistic side.
6.CHEESE LOVERS: Calling all cheese lovers, here’s an excuse to indulge. It’s your day Wednesday.
