Science shows that anyone who gets COVID-19 builds up antibodies to the virus, but those aren’t a cure to COVID-19.

Scientists said there is no hard evidence showing how long or effective antibodies can be. This past week, 819 people got a blood test and more than 30% had antibodies for COVID-19.

State epidemiologist Dr. Jared Taylor said this number brings concerns.

“We know particularly in our percent positive numbers we know we have missed lots of testing across the state,” Taylor said.

Health officials said right now, there isn’t enough testing to have an accurate county of positive cases.
