Here are six things to know before you set your alarm for Friday.

1.CLASS AT HOME: Some Broken Arrow students will be learning from home. The district said the High School, Freshman Academy, Centennial Middle School and Liberty Elementary will move to distance learning due to COVID-19 exposures.

2.PANDEMIC UPDATE: OU Health’s Chief COVID officer Dr. Dale Bratzler will give a general overview on the pandemic in Oklahoma. The live stream event starts at 12:30 on OU Health’s YouTube channel.

3.LOOKING FOR NURSES: The VA in Muskogee is hosting a job fair for registered nurses and licensed practical nurses. It’s by appointment only.

4.APPLY TO SCHOOL: Northeastern State University is hosting a virtual recruitment event for Native American high school students. It will be held over Zoom, participants can receive help with applying for admission, scholarships and financial aid.

5.TO THE MAT: Tickets for the 2021 Big 12 Wrestling Championship at the BOK Center go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. Tickets are sold in groups of two to eight seats.

6.ON THE ICE: The Tulsa Oilers will start the first of three home games against the Rapid City Rush. The Oilers currently sit in fourth place in the conference.
