Watch: Cardinal Visits Family, Brings Comfort After Loss

Have you ever heard about what it means when you see a cardinal? There are some who believe that seeing a cardinal is like a messenger from God or it comes around after the loss of a loved one to offer comfort in times of sadness or despair.

George and Phyllis Stunkard were married for 62 years. Phyllis worked for Coweta public schools for over 40 years, most recently as a school bus driver where she took special care to get students to and from school.

Last spring, Phyllis was diagnosed with brain cancer and after a courageous battle, passed away the end of December.

Her family said after her funeral, they would see cardinals flying around the home and recently, one hit the window. George went outside to check on it, picked it up and sat it on his wrist and his daughter was able to capture the heartwarming moment
