If you are looking for an opportunity to get better educated on subjects like substance abuse or mental health, the Tulsa Health Department’s Regional Prevention Coordinators, along with the Coalition Against Prescription and STOPDUI coalition, is hosting “A Day in the Life: Front Line Perspectives during the Times of COVID”. They are looking to encourage dialogue to better align and integrate the efforts of organizations, particularly those on the frontline, who are trying to find a sense of normalcy during this time.

Session presenters will be speaking on topics such as medication safety, opioids, alcohol and other substances, impaired driving, mental health, education, medical and criminal justice. Continuing education for medical staff and social workers and CLEET hours for law enforcement are available for participating in this forum.

Dates for sessions start in February and run through June. Click here for more information and to purchase tickets or call 918.595.4475.
