Tulsa Police Arrest Woman Connected To Multiple Burglaries

Tulsa Police said a woman is in jail after they responded to a burglary in progress near 15th and Harvard on Wednesday evening. Authorities said the woman was also wanted in connection to other criminal activity. TPD identified the woman as Janis Wells. She will face several charges, including two counts of first degree burglary, according to the jail website. Tulsa Police said a woman is in jail after they responded to a burglary in progress near 15th and Harvard on Wednesday evening. Authorities said the woman was also wanted in connection to other criminal activity.

TPD identified the woman as Janis Wells. She will face several charges, including two counts of first degree burglary, according to the jail website.

Fugitive Arrest: Janis Wells

Investigators said they were able to get a warrant for Wells’ arrest because of another burglary she has been connected to. Tulsa Police investigators said they have been close to catching Wells.

Tulsa Police said her arrest will close a felony case and will clear other warrants at both the local and state levels. Wells is expected to see a judge on Thursday, per the jail website.
