Oklahoman Releases Children's Book About Tulsa's Greenwood District

Opal's Greenwood Oasis is a children's book about a young black girl who lived in the Greenwood District before the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre.

The book's authors Quraysh Ali Lansana and Najah Amaltullah Hylton joined News On 6 to talk more about the book, which came out on February 2nd.

He is an Oklahoma-native, Tulsa Race Massacre historian, and acting director of the OSU-Tulsa Center for Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation.
