Promenade Mall has reopened after Tulsa police responded to a shooting incident on Saturday.

The shots fired call was placed to dispatchers just before 12:30 p.m.

According to police, a customer came into the Finish Line store and began arguing with a store employee. Authorities said the customer and employee "knew each other from previous encounters that resulted in animosity."

The argument between the customer and employee, identified as Keyondre Huntley, turned into a physical confrontation as acquaintances of the customer also attempted to assault Huntley.

During the attempted assault, Huntley pulled a handgun out of his pocket, which prompted the customer and the acquaintances to run away.

Huntley fired at the customer, striking him in the hip and shoulder area. The customer continued fleeing to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No other injuries have been reported at this time.

Huntley is in police custody. His bond has been set at $75,000.

Charges are pending further investigation.
