Tulsa Man Hit By Pickup While Riding Horse

A Tulsa man is recovering after he was hit by a pickup while riding his horse Monday morning.

The highway patrol said Matthew Sheets was riding the horse in the dark in a lane of traffic on 66th Street North near Lewis. Troopers said a driver couldn’t see them and ran into them.

Sheets suffered multiple injuries but is expected to be okay. No word on the horse’s condition.
