Police said Clarissa Kaser, 19, and Crystal “Grey” Kaser, 14, were shot and killed Tuesday. Police identified David Kaser, 56, as the suspect and said he died by suicide.

Police said they do know the motive but will not be sharing it with the public.

Police said Clarissa had just graduated from Charles Page High School in June and Crystal was a 9th grade student at Clyde Boyd Middle School.

Police previously said the girls' mother called police and told them her husband had called her at work making threats he was going to kill their daughters. The mother told police she heard a gunshot while on the phone.

Sand Springs Public Schools released a statement, saying,

"Our hearts are heavy for the recent tragedies of two Sand Springs families. Our condolences go out to each of these families."
As our community tries to make sense of the last few weeks' events, we will stand ready to offer support and help whenever needed. We must make it our priority to lean on each other, love our neighbor, and support our students and families to the greatest extent possible. Sand Springs Public Schools will make counseling services available to any of our students or staff who want to talk with someone.
For most, the local public school is the heart of the community, and Sand Springs is a prime example of this. Sandites are a source of strength and resolve, and words cannot express how thankful we are for this community."

Sand Springs Police just worked a triple murder-suicide nearby days earlier. In that case, they say a father stabbed his two young daughters and their mother to death, before killing himself.

Captain Enzbrenner presviously said these tragedies have shaken their department:

"Now we have six additional officers who have to deal with this tragedy, a tragedy like this,” said Captain Enzbrenner. “We have the resources to help us get through it, and we will. We're resilient, this is what we do for a living."

The Sand Springs Police Department said they "send our heartfelt condolences to the family of these victims for this tragic and senseless murder of these two beautiful girls who were just beginning their lives. No words can express the pain this family is enduring."
