Oklahoma Highway Patrol Encourages Drivers To Stay Home During Winter Storm

Troopers are encouraging Oklahomans to stay home on Sunday because of dangerous driving conditions.

If you do need to leave the house, let others know where you are going and how you plan to get there. Be sure to check your brakes, wipers, fluids, and tire pressure. Troopers also say you should pack warm clothes, a blanket, a flashlight and ice scraper, sand or cat litter, nonperishable foods, and water.

And remember to allow extra time for your travels and to drive slowly.
