Tulsa Man Arrested After Hotel Fight Turned Into Shooting, Police Say

Tulsa Police arrested a man they said shot a man three times after getting into a fight in a hotel lobby.

Police said surveillance video showed the suspect, Taylor Packer, in an altercation with the victim in the lobby of a hotel near 41st and Garnett around 11 p.m. Sunday. Police said Packer fired seven shots and hit the other man three times before running away.

Officers said they were able to track down Packer despite the cold and arrested him.

Police said the victim was transported to the hospital, but his injuries are non-life-threatening.

Packer has been arrested for shooting with intent to kill, illegal possession of a firearm and drug complaints.
