A new report finds 1 in 5 Oklahomans ages 20 to 29 have been asking their parents to help them pay bills since the start of the pandemic. This includes rent, car payments, groceries and childcare.

A new report finds one in five Oklahomans ages 20 to 29 have been asking their parents to help them pay bills since the start of the pandemic.

This includes rent, car payments, groceries and childcare.

For parents who are helping, 78-percent say there is no interest on the loans and 20-percent say they don't expect the money back.

Financial expert Paul Hood of Hood CPAs joined News On 6 and offered some tips.
