Owasso Police Chief To Retire; New Chief Named

The Owasso Police Department announced that Chief of Police Scott Chambless will retire in July.

The department said Chambless has served in law enforcement for 29 years, 17 of those with Owasso.

Dan Yancey has been named to take over the department, having already served as Chief from 2002-2013. He is currently the City Manager for Skiatook.
