Tulsa Water Department crews are getting help from emergency crews as they work to repair more than 100 water line breaks around the city.
Water department crews are working 12-hour shifts, and some of them told News On 6 they haven't seen their families in more than a week because they've been working on breaks around town since last Sunday.
News On 6 has been in contact with the city, and they said unfortunately they are expecting these breaks to continue because of the extreme freezing temperatures causing the ground to shift, which is what causes the breaks.
If you have frozen pipes, you can call 918-596-9844 to let the city know, so they can send someone out to investigate.
The city is asking if you see crews working on a break, to please avoid the area.
