The City of Grove is asking residents to continue to conserve their gas usage, as the city's supplier said gas storage is strained under the high demand.
The Grove City Manager said that residents are not in immediate danger of losing natural gas supply. However, the city said that it is "imperative that each and every customer take steps to curb gas usage across our system."
It's not just the supply for Grove, but also for Afton, Fairland and Jay.
The gas supplier, Constellation, informed the city and GMSA on Tuesday of the outstanding low supply of natural gas.
The city manager also said that gas prices will likely be higher due to the strain on the system.
