Road conditions are improving in Muskogee after the second wave of snow. City leaders said they are proud of how hard crews have been working to clear the streets.
Crews have been working around the clock, with 12-hour shifts to make sure the roads are clear for drivers.
City of Muskogee emergency manager Tyler Evans said overall, they haven't had too many problems this week with people traveling around town.
Evans said he has been impressed by how hard crews have been working to clear the streets in Muskogee.
"What we've been dealt with, our guys have done a great job of keeping the main roads clear, thoroughfares, intersections open, around the clock to make sure people can get back and forth,” he said.
Evans said now that pipes may begin thawing, they are now concerned about more waterline breaks, and they will focus on repairing those.
