Man Accused Of Illegally Boarding Plane At Tulsa International Airport

Tulsa airport police arrested a man they said was trespassing on airport grounds and managed to get onto a Southwest plane.

Around 5 a.m. Thursday morning, police received reports of a man who wasn’t supposed to be there. Police boarded a plane and said Stephen Spangle was in the back and had put his bag and coat in the overhead compartment.

Police said Spangle first said he was told to go to the plane and then claimed it was his job to look for unlocked doors at the airport, but that was a lie.

Spangle is in jail facing misdemeanor charges.
