Tulsa Area Churches Offering Free Groceries For Those In Need

Victory Church is opening its doors to those in need. Families in need can pick up free groceries and household items from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 71st and Lewis. Community members are also welcome to donate new or gently used blankets and winter gear.

Farmers to Families food distribution at Asbury United Methodist Church will also continue on Saturday but will start later than usual. The church says they've moved the start time back to noon due to the possibility of black ice in the parking lot.

Asbury says this is not a needs-based program, so any person in need of food is welcome.
