McAlester's Mayor Says Water Line Has Been Repaired

McAlester mayor John Browne told News on 6 Saturday that a 12-inch long leak in a water line has been repaired.

Browne said the city's water towers are gradually filling and water is steadily coming into town.

City contractors and crews repaired five additional leaks Saturday and will be at work again on Sunday.

Browne also asks McAlester residents to continue using as little water as possible so that others can be able to receive water further down the line.
