Residents in the City of Tulsa are being asked to conserve water as crews continue to address a high number of water line breaks. The city is dealing with about 80 breaks as of Monday morning, which is impacting hundreds of homes and businesses.
The city is asking people to refrain from using appliances like washing machines and dishwashers and hold back on errands like getting a car wash until the storage tank levels are replenished to a normal amount. Since temperatures are starting to rise above freezing again, there is no longer a need to let faucets drip, according to the city.
