Man Arrested In Deadly Washington County Shooting Identified

The Washington County Sheriff's Office has identified the man arrested in a deadly shooting that happened outside Vera.

Investigators said Bailey Keith Wattenbarger got into a fight with Ashton Cole O'Dell at a home near 186th Street North and Highway 75.

Authorities said O'Dell died "as a result of several gunshot wounds."

Deputies said a family member tried to separate the men, but Wattenbarger shot and killed the 29-year-old victim.
