Prosecutors filed charges against a man accused of killing a woman and a toddler in a crash after stealing beer from a convenience store.
34-year-old Troy Lane is in the Tulsa County Jail on two counts of first-degree manslaughter. Prosecutors said he had meth, pot and PCP in his system when he caused the crash in May that killed his passengers, his daughter two-year-old Troyanna Lane and the girl's mother 33-year-old Nicole Underwood.
Court documents said Lane was racing away form the convenience store when he ran a red light and crashed into a vehicle near 51st and Harvard.
Records show Lane has previous convictions for DUI, drugs and assault with a dangerous weapon. Records show he also spent time in prison for burglary.
