A national survey of parents with children under the age of five found that single parents are having a difficult time during the pandemic.
Single parents are more likely to become unemployed during the pandemic, and nearly twice as many single parents are struggling to pay for basic necessities like food, housing, and utilities.
And when it comes to childcare--three times as many single parents are having difficulties paying for it.
Financial expert Paul Hood from Hood CPAs talked with News On 6 about this.
