Norman Public Schools' Jessica Eschbach Named 2021 Oklahoma Teacher Of The Year

The Oklahoma State Department of Education announced Jessica Eschbach as its 2021 Teacher of the Year.

The announcement was made via a virtual ceremony on Thursday morning.

Eschbach, an Innovative Learning Coach at Norman North High School, was selected among 12 finalists statewide.

Last year's Oklahoma Teacher of the Year was Jena Nelson from Deer Creek Public Schools.

Eschbach will begin her duties as the state's Teacher of the Year on July 1.
