The Federal Aviation Administration has announced it will be partnering with the Choctaw Nation to study Unmanned Aircraft Systems.

The two will be specifically studying how the systems can best transport cargo, including packages, at lower altitudes.

The FAA's Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma City has signed a three-year agreement with the Choctaw Nation. The agreement will enable the study of human factors, supply chain management and air traffic control.

The Choctaw Nation was the only tribal government selected for this program.
