An Owasso man asking for help finding two dogs who he said attacked him while he was in his backyard. The man said he wants the owners to come forward and to have the dogs put down.

Chuck Carnagey said as bad as this was, he considers himself lucky. He said he feels thankful it happened to him instead of someone else in the neighborhood like a small child or someone older.

Video from a security camera shows two dogs chasing Carnagey around a backyard in the Paradise Valley neighborhood in Owasso. As he fell to the ground, they bit his hands and feet.

"I just kept slapping at them, and kicking at them, long enough so I could get away and get a weapon to use to defend myself," Carnagey said.

That weapon was a dustpan he grabbed from his back porch. Carnagey said he used it to protect himself from the two dogs before they finally ran away.

"I just didn't expect two dogs with all these children around to be that aggressive," Carnagey said.

Carnagey said he believes the dogs have an owner, and he wants them to come forward so this doesn't happen to anyone else.

He said a lot of kids play outside in the neighborhood and he worries about what could have happened if they were attacked.

"I would like to find those dogs, and as aggressive as those two dogs were, I don't think they need to be running free, they need to be put down. They are a menace to society," he said.

Carnagey said he believes one of the dogs was a boxer and one a pit bull.

He also wants to find the dogs so he can get their vaccination records, so he can know if he needs to get a rabies shot.

“It's a free ticket to come forward and say, hey, here's the dogs, I'm sorry this happened, let's get them tested and put down so they don’t hurt someone, hurt or kill someone else," he said.

Carnagey said it's rare for his neighborhood to have dogs wandering around, especially two that were that aggressive.
