With millions of Oklahomans now eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine, many are struggling to find available appointments. Now, CVS Pharmacy is rolling out vaccinations for eligible Oklahomans at some of its Green Country locations.
According to CVS, it has nearly doubled the number of states where its locations are offering COVID vaccines and now Oklahoma is included on the list.
CVS President and CEO Karen Lynch said the company has the ability to administer 20 to 25 million shots a month.
It is all part of the Federal Retail Pharmacy Program for COVID-19 vaccinations.
So far CVS has not said which Green Country locations will be giving the shots. The company has more than 75 locations across the state.
The vaccinations are by appointment only and will be available for sign-up starting Saturday, March 13.
Those interested can sign up through the CVS website, the CVS Pharmacy App or by contacting customer service.
