Veteran Salute: Michael Merit

News On 6 is continuing to recognize veterans across Green Country who are making a difference in their communities.

Today, we recognize U.S. Marine veteran Michael Merit.

He is the current State of Oklahoma VFW Commander, a wonderful husband, and tireless advocate for veterans rights and benefits.

He is highly active with the legislature to make sure all of Oklahoma's veterans have a voice and are heard when it comes to making sure that they and their families are taken care of.
