Family Identifies 21-Year-Old Killed In Creek County Shooting; Suspect In Custody

The Creek County Sheriff's Office says they have a suspect in custody after a fatal shooting on Tuesday.

Family told News on 6 that the victim is 21-year-old Rudy Robinson and that he lived just near the area.

According to deputies, one person was found dead when they arrived at the property near S 369th Ave and W 61st street. The suspect ran from the scene but deputies say he was found hiding on the property and taken into custody.

The victim's family said that Robinson was a quiet but great kid and always avoided conflict.

"He was a super kid. The loss is great, I can feel the tears behind my eyes," Robinson's grandfather Ray-Bradley-Walker said. "I wish I could have seen him more frequently and certainly today. But God knows, God is good, but my tears will come later with my bride."

Deputies said they are still investigating what led to the shooting.
