Teacher Of The Day: Mrs. Shawn Holey

Wednesday's teacher of the day is Mrs. Shawn Holey, a 4th grade teacher at Barnes Elementary in Owasso.

The person who nominated her said she is "a constant advocate for her students in all aspects of their lives."

She said that Mrs. Holey is in constant contact with parents and "is always accessible and has a level of caring about each student that is so heart-warning. She's patient, organized and takes the time to get to know her students as individuals."
