Veteran Salute: Paul Wilson

News On 6 is continuing to recognize veterans across Green Country who are making a difference in their communities.

Today, we recognize Paul Wilson.

Paul is a U.S. Army veteran who served with the 17th Airborne Division in World War II and fought during the Battle of the Bulge.

His family said he never spoke of his service until he was in his 80s after more than 60 percent of his company was lost in the battle.

He now lives at the VA center in Norman where he sings Frank Sinatra songs to the nurses and enjoys visits from his grandkids as well as a Sonic foot-long hotdog.
