Tulsa Police say they are searching for the person responsible for a shooting that left a woman hospitalized on Wednesday night.
Tulsa police said around 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday officers received several calls about hearing shots fired near the area of 41st and 129th where the Polo Club Apartments are. Police said when they got to the area, they drove around looking for a victim or a suspect and finally were pointed in the direction of a woman who was laying on the ground with several gunshot wounds.
According to police, the victim was transported with severe injuries but is expected to be recover.
Police said that they currently do not know anything about the person responsible, not even if they are a man or woman. According to police, officers have not yet identified the woman since she did not have an ID on her when she was found.
Police say they are reviewing video from near the scene that could help them piece the shooting together, but told News On 6, it does not show much except that there was a shooting.
Tulsa Police are asking anyone with information about the shooting or the individual responsible call Crime Stoppers at (918)-596-COPS.
