Emergency crews are on the scene of an accident causing a large backup on the Broken Arrow Expressway at US-169. According to Tulsa police, a truck with a connected trailer hit a Tulsa police cruiser. Tulsa police say that the officer involved in the crash was taken to the hospital. the drier of the other vehicle involved was uninjured. Emergency crews are on the scene of an accident involving a Tulsa police cruiser that is causing a large backup on the Broken Arrow Expressway at US-169

According to Tulsa police, a truck with a connected trailer hit a Tulsa police cruiser around 6 a.m. on Thursday morning.

Tulsa police say that the officer involved in the crash was taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries sustained during the crash, however he was walking around and talking before being transported. The driver of the other vehicle involved was uninjured.

Police are now investigating the cause of the accident.
