Amazing Oklahoman: Robert Painter

Friday’s amazing Oklahoman is an Army veteran who spends his retirement spreading joy around his hometown of Bartlesville.

Since Robert Painter retired, he’s been catering meals for local first responders, volunteering with other causes and even plays Santa Claus for children.

Painter has no plans on slowing down. He just turned 80, was recently married and said he plans to keep serving others for many years to come.
