TULSA, Okla. -

Langston University has partnered with the American Red Cross to hold a Sickle Cell Awareness Blood Drive at all of their campuses on Monday.

The university says because of blood drive cancellations from the pandemic, there has been a steep decline in blood donations, while the need for blood products with sickle cell disease has remained steady.

Drives will be at the Tulsa and Oklahoma City campuses from 2:30 to 7:30 Monday night and in Langston, Monday morning from 10 a.m. to 4.

Donors will get a commemorative T-shirt from OneOK.
