Amazing Oklahoman: Lexi Layton

Monday’s amazing Oklahoman is a Green Country high school student who is taking her first steps since a terrible accident last summer.

Lexi Layton is a senior at Glenpool High School.

Last July, she was badly injured in an ATV accident and spent six months in the hospital. When she left, she was in a wheelchair.

Lexi has been working hard every day and for the first time, left her wheelchair in the car to walk herself into school.
