A road reconstruction project will start on a mile-long stretch of East 156th Street North between Garnett and Mingo. The county said the road will be closed for anyone trying to drive from one end to the other, but it will be open for local traffic.
Crews are warning local traffic will be limited and challenging at times because of the project. The work is expected to last at least a week.
Whirlpool Drive will also undergo construction between 66th Street North and 76th Street North starting Monday. The City of Tulsa is installing a new water line in the area.
Access to the warehouse and two-way traffic will still be maintained. This project is expected to last for four weeks.
