A woman is arrested after she was accused of stripping her clothes, burning them and attacking a man in a downtown Oklahoma City apartment complex.

The woman was taken into custody after a chaotic scene at the complex. Investigators said she broke into someone's home Sunday and held the resident at knifepoint.

The woman was identified as Iesha Swan, and she is facing several complaints.

"For whatever reason, she decided to remove her clothing, set it on fire, and then try to attack this man," Oklahoma City police Master Sgt. Gary Knight said.

Oklahoma City police said a man called authorities when Swan wouldn't leave him alone.

"She just kept repeatedly banging on this man's door. He tried to ignore it at first hoping she'd go away but she would not go away," Knight said.

The 75-year-old man living there opened his door. That's when Swan barged in and began breaking and throwing things on the floor, according to the police report.

"She was not wearing any clothes. She had apparently set all of her clothes on fire right outside of his door," said Knight.

Responding officers saw the smoldering clothes in the hallway with smoke beginning to collect on the ceiling.

When they got into the apartment, investigators said they saw Swan with a butter knife in hand, make a stabbing motion towards the man's neck.

"That was when officers used a Taser to get her under control, (and) get her handcuffed," Knight said.

Investigators think Swan was under the influence of drugs at the time, making the arrest even more difficult.

"(It) Made her more aggressive, she obviously was wanting to fight and acting in a very erratic manner," Knight said.

It's not clear who extinguished the burning clothes, but Knight said that put the entire complex's safety at risk

"The last thing we want to see is that cause the fire to spread and engulf the entire complex. You can obviously get people hurt very badly or even killed," Knight said.

Paramedics took Swan to St. Anthony's Hospital for treatment, and then she was booked into the Oklahoma County jail.

She's facing arson, burglary, and assault with a dangerous weapon complaints.

Investigators said she and the victim had no previous connection and she did not live in the building.
