Oklahoma State star Natasha Mack, the Naismith women’s defensive player of the year, was taken early in the second round of the WNBA draft.
With the fourth pick of the second round, 16th overall, Mack will go to the Chicago Sky.
Mack had some words for her “past self” Thursday after she was drafted.
‘You did it, you finally made it, you can dance, do your happy dance, hug your mom real big, hug your support system that’s been there since day one. I finally did it,” Mack said. “That’s what I’d say to my younger self.”
