Oklahoma Gas & Electric announced Wednesday that it will move away from relying on fossil fuels over the next 10-30 years.
The utility company said between 2030 and 2050, it will retire 95% of its fossil-fueled electricity generation. Eventually, it will move to high-efficiency natural gas or renewables.
OG&E will also transition 50 percent of its work fleet to electric vehicles by 2025 and 100 percent by 2030.
