Tulsa Authority For Economic Opportunity To Hold First Meeting

The Tulsa Authority for Economic Opportunity will be holding its first meeting on Thursday.

The authority is the result of an 18-month partnership between the Mayor's Office of Economic Development and a consulting firm. The goal of the partnership was to determine how to structure the city's economic development moving forward.

The authority is a merger between the Economic Development Office, Tulsa Industrial Authority, Tulsa Parking Authority and Economic Development Commission.

Thursday's meeting will begin at 9 a.m.
