Federal prosecutors in Muskogee have handed down what they’re calling a historic number of indictments.
Thursday alone, prosecutors charged 90 people, nearly the same number of people they prosecute in a year.
Almost all the indictments are those charged or convicted already but their cases were dismissed after the Supreme Court ruling on tribal jurisdiction.
They include 34 murder charges, 14 sexual assault cases and other violent crimes.
