Thousands of athletes will be coming to Tulsa for their chance to qualify for the IRONMAN World Championships next month.

Before that big event, 200 athletes will be riding the IRONMAN course for charity. Bixby Bicycles has organized the charity ride which will benefit Team Suicide Prevention and Hope is Oxygen, an organization working with the homeless here in Tulsa. The ride is expected to take off from the OSU-Tulsa parking lot around 8:30 Sunday morning.

IRONMAN announced they were bringing a qualifier race to Tulsa back in June of 2019 but the race in 2020 was then postponed due to the pandemic.
