WATCH: Edmond Man Repeatedly Crashes Truck Into Ex Girlfriend’s Vehicle, Leads Police On Wild Chase

Dispatchers received a 911 call from the ex-girlfriend of 37-year-old David Kerschner Sunday. He's accused of ramming his vehicle into his ex's car repeatedly and leading police on a wild chase. News 9's Clayton Cummins has the story.

Tense moments in Edmond after a man repeatedly rams his truck into his ex-girlfriend’s car while driving down the road.

Around 11:30 p.m. Sunday, dispatchers received a 911 call from the suspect’s ex-girlfriend stating that he was going to hit her car near the intersection of Second and Coltrane.

The caller identified the man as David Kerschner Jr., 37.

Kerschner Jr. is heard on 911 calls ramming into his ex’s car several times. It’s caught on dashcam video minutes later.

Police arrived shortly after the call and made attempts to stop Kerschner Jr.

A short chase began.

When Kerschner Jr. arrived to a dead end on Mary Lee Lane, he jumped out of his truck with it still in drive. The truck hit a gas line, causing an outage to the neighborhood.

The suspect ran into a backyard where police said he jumped head first over a fence with a long drop off on the other side.

Officers tracked Kerschner Jr. down shortly after.

Before being taken into police custody, Kerschner Jr. was taken to the hospital where he was found to have suffered numerous broken ribs, a collapsed lung and a separated shoulder in the fall.

Kerschner Jr. faces charges of assault with a deadly weapon, felony eluding, obstruction and driving under suspension.
