Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum will discuss his nearly $800 million budget proposal at Wednesday's city council meeting.
The city council's budget and special projects committee is meeting Wednesday afternoon to go over the proposed budget.
Mayor Bynum first introduced his nearly $800 million proposal at last week's city council meeting.
A final decision will not be made Wednesday; councilors will just discuss the amount and where the mayor hopes to allocate those funds.
This budget is just for fiscal year 2021 to 2022.
In that, the mayor is hoping some of the funds will go to continued excavation and work for the 1921 Graves Investigation.
He also has money planned to expand the Community Response Team that would essentially helps officers address mental health calls.
