Oklahoma Korea & Vietnam Veteran Laid To Rest At Arlington National Cemetery

An Oklahoma veteran who served in the Korean and Vietnam War was laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery Wednesday.

One of Oklahoma’s own has been laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery.

Retired U.S. Air Force Colonel Floyd “Bud” Totten received full military honors at the ceremony Wednesday. Totten served 28 years in the Air Force as a fighter pilot in both Korea and Vietnam, and survived being shot down on his final tour of Vietnam.

Totten retired in 1978, having received a Silver Star, two Distinguished Flying Cross, the Air Medal among other honors.

He is survived by his wife, Marilyn, six children and 18 grandchildren.
